Humanity has to prove itself in a distant future. Their underground city is anything but luxuriously equipped. Above all, the lack of water is getting to them. Sheeran is a geologist and has some ideas on how to remedy the shortage. Why is it that the colony’s management is so hostile to his suggestions? Even Jon, his best friend and mentor, is acting increasingly strange. It is only when it appears that the target is within reach that Sheeran realises the terrible truth.
